Think Spring

Oh how I wish there was something spring like in the forecast - feels like spring will never come back around!  Last year seemed just as bad and I remember thinking how my outdoor April wedding in Minnesota would turn out...well, the weather perked up and it was an amazing day for Lindsey and Rick.  Check out these photos from Studio Laguna - Great couple who deserved and got a very special spring day!

Winter Photo Shoot

Snowy day at Mall of America Ice Castles resulted in some great shoots from this MN Bride magazine photo shoot!!  I designed the rose runner for the this table using 600 red roses along with orchids and tulips. Turned out beautiful!!

Cafe Lurcat wedding

I am so behind on blogging!!  I found these photos on my iPhone and thought I would share as a start to getting back to blogging!

These pictures were from a small affair at Cafe Lurcat with some pretty special flowers.  The bride requested red peonies and some hints of blush and soft orange.  I wanted to have hints of fall with the rosehips and kale - love the mercury glass vases and silver votive candles with these flowers.

Garden flowers

An extra special bride last June - she is a long time friend of my sister's and she had a great vision for the look she wanted.  Rebecca picked green dresses and wanted the flowers arranged loosely in an artistic garden style.  Lucky for us, we had great coral peonies to work with for the bridesmaids.  The bridal bouquet was a gorgeous mix of peonies and blush colored roses. Check out the photos by  Meg Cooper Photography.

Yellow and Grey

Anna's wedding was perfect and personal.  So many gorgeous details in this wedding: mason jars that the bride turned into mercury glass candle holders, pretty yellow polka dot dresses for the flower girls, super cute yellow shoes for the maids! And a gorgeous bride, too! I was so excited to design the flowers for Anna and Elijah's amazing day. Working with Anna was a highlight of this wedding season - she had great vision and total trust in me. The end result was so beautiful and the proof is in these shots by Mad Chicken Studio!

Jewel Tone Fall

Lots of goodies in this mix of flowers - giant vanda orchids, anemones, ranunculus, so much!!  Love how these colors look with the teal dresses - pulls out the richness of that color.  Photos by Crystal Rose Photography  - she did such a great job capturing these colors and the moments of the day!!

Glam at Landmark

Landmark Center in St. Paul is a great venue for a glam reception and this wedding was no exception!  Check out these fantastic detail shots from Judd Sather Photography  of the summer wedding of Jacki and Mike.  Bouquets of white roses, green hydrangea and green berries were simple and stunning.  The bouquets for the bridesmaids' were accented with pink rhinestone cuffs for a little glam! The bride's bouquet was accented with pearls and crystals - so pretty!  The centerpieces were a mix of submerged orchids and tall vases of white calla lilies.
