The weather on Saturday was frightful, but the flowers for the wedding were delightful! Check out the bride's red bouquet with roses, peonies and feathers and her maids' bouquets of champange colored roses with gold berries and feathers. The bride was so happy, she hugged me when she saw the flowers! I heard through the grapevine that they had a wonderful ceremony and that the photographer got some great photos of the bride in the snow...looking forwarding to seeing the pictures!

blue period
I like to think of the designs I do as art with flowers. So I was thrilled to work on a recent project for one of my corporate clients who was hosting a dinner party in honor of Yves Klein, an artist known for patenting his own color of blue. Naturally, the centerpieces I created for the event reflected his favorite blue color and my love for texture. Call it my blue period...
so many pretty flowers

love, love, love
This is a sneak peak because the wedding was just last weekend, but I had to share!!! I have been so excited for this wedding since I met bride Kate and she shared her wish for a wedding in white, grey and yellow. I have been longing to do a wedding that scheme forever, so I was thrilled and inspired!
More to come when the professional photos come in...but for now, thank you to Kate for allowing me so much creative freedom with your flowers. I love, love, love them!!! Best wishes to you on your new life together - I am so happy for you both!

Pretty coral
I love the soft color of coral bridesmaids dresses - the look is so pretty and allows for endless floral options. Here I used a different coral colored flower for each bridesmaid and white flowers for the bride. Kristen Anne Photography did a wonderful job photographing this very pretty color and all the details of the bouquets - thank you!
Heather and Jason
It was a beautiful July day when Heather and Jason said "I do" at Noerenberg Gardens on Lake Minnetonka and then were off to 413 on Wacouta for their reception. The color scheme was purple and green - so we incorporated elements from orchids to limes to bring in those colors . What a fun wedding and two great venues. Check out these fantastic pictures from Barclay Horner of their beautiful event!!

february roses
These past hot days made these pictures from Stefanie's February wedding a welcome treat. It was a beautiful winter day for her wedding and I love all the ways we incorporated the red roses into the decor. Thanks to Andrew Vick for these shots.
spring green
Wedding season is in full bloom, so it is nice to get pictures in from the spring weddings. Here are some gorgeous shots of Katie and Colin's early May wedding. Thanks to Jenn Cress for providing these shots.
