It was a beautiful event at Cafe Lurcat recently. The intimate gathering was a festive winter celebration given by a favorite corporate client of mine. White blooms of roses, amaryllis and hydrangea were set off with gorgeous magnolia leaves - my absolute favorite winter green. A table runner of candles in various grey containers - just perfect for the event and venue!

One of my favorite bouquets of the fall - maybe ever - cymbidium orchids, unripe raspberries, calla lilies, dahlias, feathers, hydrangea and a ton of other beautiful things! More to come from this wedding, just thought I would share these photos!

Country wedding
Oh I loved this wedding - tons of peonies, layers of orchids, centerpieces dripping with lush flowers. The muted color palette was gorgeous and perfect for relaxed country feel of the day. Loved it! MN Bride - Modern romance
Check out this wedding on MN Bride Real Weddings.
A modern venue, Cosmos Restaurant meets romantic flowers. The design took into account the venue's lighting, the color of the unique wood tables and the goal of the bride to create softness to venue's sleek lines. These are the stunning results! Thanks to Shuttersmack for capturing the details of the day. Thanks to MN Bride for posting this amazing event on your Real Weddings page.

Best Flower Girl. Ever.
More to come from this wedding, but I can't help bragging about this cutie! Lucy is my daughter and this was her first time as a flower girl for a family wedding that I also designed for. She did a great job and loved every minute of it - she will remember the day forever!

Pewter colored dresses!
When Jill came to meet with me, I was in love with her bridesmaids' dress color choice: pewter is my favorite! I was excited to create around her color scheme of white, pewter and muted purple.
I used a mix of white peonies, roses and ranunculus for Jill's bouquet and for the maids, I worked in purple seasonal flowers and a touch of green to compliment their pewter grey dresses.
The centerpieces at Windows on Minnesota were simple and beautiful - orchids in tall silver vases, mixed white flowers in pewter bowl vases and candles everywhere.

honeymoon blooms
Two good signs that my clients love my designs: the mother of the bride hugs me and the bride takes the bouquet with her on the honeymoon! Both things happened during this recent wedding at Mill City Museum. These are just my quick shots that I took when I delivered the bouquets - I will post more when the professional shots come in. I LOVE happy brides and happy mothers!

Arboretum Gorgeous!
One of my favorite places is the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen. It is an amazing backdrop for a wedding and I was thrilled to get the opportunity to design there for Rachel and Josh's wedding in May. The talented Spencer Combs took these shots of their gorgeous day. Love, love, love this wedding!

peony season
I do love peonies and my favorite time of year is when they are all in bloom! These pictures are from Anna and Josh's garden wedding and the peonies were perfect. I paired them with antique pink colored roses and I loved the combination. Best wishes Anna and Josh - enjoy a long life together and always enjoy peony season!
