pretty, pretty, pretty!

Oh I loved this wedding and I am thrilled with these photos from photographer Jeannine Marie. This early June wedding took full advantage of the blooming peonies mixed in with some stunning combinations of champagne roses. This is my new favorite color scheme: ivory and champagne - just lovely and goes with any bold accent color. Jeannine did a fantastic job of capturing all the details of the gorgeous day - just check out these shots...

Party Flowers

Just had to share these super cute centerpieces I just did for a graduation party. The school colors were green, blue and white and the style was garden party. How fun!

Lake Wedding

As you can tell from these photos, Kristi was a very relaxed and fun bride. In fact she was so easy going about the planning that we actually never even met in person. We planned all the details over email and her maid of honor picked up her flowers on the way to the lake for the wedding. I was delighted to see how wonderfully the black and white gerbera daisies fit in with her lake wedding. Check out these shots from the talented Josh Stanz Photography .

Sneak peeks

So many flowers, so little time! The wedding season is in full swing and although these aren't professional photographs, I thought I would share a little of what my studio has been turning out these last few months. When the pros send in their shots, I will be sure to post those with more details. For now just enjoy the sneak peek...

Red and green flowers

As promised, here are more shots from Amy Anderson Photography of Cindy and Erik's wedding last November.

Cindy wanted a touch of holiday season in her bouquet so I added a few sprigs of cedar and unripe blackberries to mix in with the bright green and deep red flowers.

The centerpiece candles from MBellish filled with cranberries complimented the centerpiece bouquets of cedar, flowers and berries. I wish this couple all the best - thanks for sharing your photos!

Kelly and Justin

If you have never been to a winter wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion, it is such a treat! Kelly and Justin were married a few days before Valentine's Day in a heated tent on the Pavilion patio.
Kelly chose dark red roses for all the bouquets and centerpieces - stunning on the white winter background.
These shots from E Photography capture the warm moments of the wedding day.
As with all my weddings, I incorporated details into the flowers to make them more special for the couple. Note the rhinestone buckles on all the bouquets and corsages - Kelly thought they were the perfect way to add "sparkle" to the black satin ribbon. Also, as a memorial to Justin's mother, I created a large rose arrangement to rest on the first chair at the ceremony - the cutest little ring bearer is standing next to it in the picture.
Congratulations to Kelly and Justin - I loved your winter wedding!!

Jodie and Andy

One of my absolute favorite events of my career was Jodie and Andy's wedding this past fall. They are an amazing couple and gave me so much creative freedom with their designs. Even the final design for the chuppah was a complete surprise to the couple and I was thrilled to create that for them.

Jodie carried white mini calla lilies and her bridesmaids' held orchids and calla lilies in an upright design to compliment the shape of the flowers.

The reception was at the fabulous Westin in Edina. The look was again orchids and callas lilies in fall colors shown two ways - either submerged in glass vases or in tall designs for height.

Congrats to Jodie and Andy and best wishes to you for an amazing life together. Thank you for allowing me to create for your day!

Thanks to Contiempo for these great photos.

The Knot Magazine Minnesota

I love when I spot my work in wedding magazines - so fun to see how the million details of planning come together in one special day.

The new issue of The Knot Magazine Minnesota showcased three different weddings of my work.

Heather and Adam's winter wedding in St. Paul was featured. Also, two of my brides were highlighted in the article, Where the money really goes. Congrats to all three couples - your weddings were beautiful and I am honored to have worked for you!!
